EWR are very happy for visiting 7.25"g locomotives to run around the 2 km track. The railway is open on Sundays eleven months of the year and on special event weekends.  Traction engines are welcome at the May Rally.

Owners are required to book before attending. Please click on the link below and complete the form for further information and to arrange a suitable date. Please note: steam engines require a in-date boiler test certificate and all rolling stock need to be in good state of maintenance. You will also require a current copy of your public liability insurance. Engines or rolling stock will not be given permission to run should EWR feel they are unsafe or not track worthy.  We will provide you, as necessary,  with an EWR pilot to accompany you for a couple of laps to show you the ropes.
