May 19th 20th 21st 2017 (general public railway passengers Saturday & Sunday only)
EWR has an annual traction engine rally when steam road engines of all sorts converge to celebrate another kind of steam heritage. Here they are seen gathered in EWRs Harvesters station car park before dispersing for runs round the water park. We also find a few of them in Old Oak railway yard enjoying tea in the engine drivers mess room. Ranging in scale from 2" to 6" to the foot, all working models, they make a fine sight. The railway runs for passengers on Saturday and Sunday.
